 I spent most of my career in pharmaceutical sales.  During my time as a people leader in the pharmaceutical industry, I led teams of 8-12 people for 8 years.  One of the lessons I learned early was that I shouldn't expect those that I led to act or be like me. 

Everyone was different.  Therefore, as a leader, I had to lead MY team while also adapting to individuals' styles in order to get the best out of each person AND not compromise who I was as a leader - that's a lot to balance!

Through my "on the job" experience, I learned a lot, AND through the mentorship, resources and training my company provided, I learned which skill sets I would need to practice and implement in order to be the best version of myself as a people leader. 

I developed THE Leadership Academy because I realized through my conversations with leaders across many companies within a variety of industries that many people found themselves in leadership positions without training, mentorship or resources; they were left to "figure it out" on their own. 

I knew that life would be much easier for any people leader if I could share my knowledge, provide resources, and teach useful skills that could be applied in their daily life.  

This is why I help managers learn, practice and implement the most pertinent leadership skillsets in a way that’s easy and fun so that they can lead a strong team known for its amazing culture and unmatched performance.
